In response to church closures in Rwanda, AEE Rwanda and Northland Church launched the Community Transformation Churches initiative in July 2025. At a pastors’ conference, leaders explored how to renew churches through spiritual, social, and economic transformation rooted in local mission.

In Rwanda’s deforested southern hills, AEE Rwanda is helping farmers like Darius restore degraded land through agroforestry. With 420,000 seedlings raised and jobs created for locals like Beatrice, the project aims to boost food security, income, and long-term environmental recovery.

Global warming is disrupting Rwanda’s farming, with shorter wet seasons and erratic rainfall. AEE Rwanda supports smallholder farmers by trialling innovations like handheld soil sensors and remote weather stations. These help optimize fertilizer use and irrigation, boosting yields and reducing costs.

Poverty forces many children out of school, but AEE Rwanda’s holistic approach helps them return. Clementine and Gad, both from disadvantaged backgrounds, rejoined school thanks to trained mentors, supportive teachers, and self-help groups that boost family incomes and promote children's rights.
